Cough cough!

Damnation....not only do I have a spluttery cough at the time when I have my radio show....a guided walk on Tullos...and a presentation at Torry Community Council...but my legs were wasted last Friday as was my right foot....inappropriate footwear for use of a spade....I was hurpling about over the weekend...legs better....foot sensitive....but getting better...phew. Completed the writing of my job spec...sorry...the job spec for the Community Engagement Officer..whether it will be mine or not....last week...so assume it has been sent up to HR...and we shall see what happens. Last 2 Sundays been up at Lochinch moving on stones and timber to folk...and 2 days burning as well...phew....singed my eyebrows and lashes....my eyes were sticking together for a wee while....bit scary really....that will teach me!...so moves to extract from Lochinch....now that remains is the stuff in the office...the stuff to scan....hhmmmmmm....try to do that during the week if possible...try to keep weekends family time. Challenging to keep this job going while not taking on new work but still checking out potential volunteers as they can be signposted on if required...or Simon and Rob can take them if they wish/can. This is the 3rd week of the plasterer plastering...today I am not overly sure what he has been doing but I assume it was the tricky stuff...mind you...he practically rebuilt the walls in the spare room...which has just dried out!!..the plan is he is away next week so I have asked for the painters to come in and paint the spare room...where all the gubbins from the livingroom can go so the guy can plaster the living room....and I tell thee...it is going to be as big a job as the spare room...he thinks not but I know so!!...he he....so hopefully by the start of May...I can have my house back...hopefully. Done and done.
