It may seem OCDish (one of my bosses said this!!) or..indeed...a bit anorakish..but I am looking forward to scanning my old metal mag pics. I used to make collages when I was younger so I guess it is hearkening back to that. I also think it is and will be a cathartic experience as there are also some pics from my younger years including the "big hair" days!!!...hurrah!!!
Mostly though...this was one of the things I had wanted to do after clearing out the house in Fife but it had to wait until all the rest of the things had been done and squared away...and now it seems we are coming to the end of "having to do" things and looking into "wanting to do" things....a nice feeling. E bay is not really moving many things and..to be honest...I am not too worried...if not sold...into the packing box and then off to storage. Target date for that is end of May at the latest....then the tradesmen can commence. End of the summer is the target for having the flat finished. Here's hoping.
I think a trip in May (along with a bloomin dentist) to Louise will be happening and a trip to South Lanarkshire in July as my old boss from the very first season is retiring. To this day, I still remember driving from Perth to East Kilbride with all my belongings in the back of the van...not knowing where I was going to stay...not knowing if I had made the right decision to leave Aviva....and the look on John's face as I stood there in my US Marine cam trousers....he he....so much has changed since then but then again so much has stayed the same. I owe that man a lot and I intend to surprise him!!!!
Time to get ready...post some e bay stuff and then to the office...scannermungous!!!!

Health
Health seems to have returned...and work is a buzz....why is this?
The permanency? The post is now being formalised as part of the group structure...although still externally funded...it means there will be no need to justify the funding every time it changes or runs out....it means we can change th funding stream as and when we wish..and when we can source it!!...without having to go through the process with HR..interesting...and a sign of how management view me...which is nice....essentially the buck stops at management and not with me.
Looking forward to SURF ending so I can switch south to Tullos Hill..mind you...it will be me dealing with the fallout from the disastrous PR farce of the deer management..bless the Townies....Bambi is the most prominent thought in their head...mind you....the Council continues with a tree planting event this month...dear me...I can see a PR nightmare coming together...at least I won't be there nor will it be my worry!! Anyhoo....the change will be fine although I really enjoyed today with the fine group at Tillydrone...litter picking...what a great bunch of folk...thinking about it....just like the CSO work...it is all about working with people...the consultation work was fine...the summer programme...interesting and challenging to do....but a dislocation from what makes me tick and what I am bloody good at!
I had to write an angry e mail to this bunch of fools called solicitors in Dyce...it would seem I should have not have been charged the bloody Stamp Duty after all...and if it wasn't for the Budget announcement I would never have know....and then they blamed me!!!...fecking hell!!!...not impressed....so now I await the money....and of course...there are so many things to spend it on...need to bite the bullet and do the spare room....after Andy came and did the sanding while I cleaned the doors....yuck...what a mink...disgusting...anyway...it looks better now. All is about ready to put to storage..which I am havering about..but it does need to go...and other stuff for ebay...if it doesn't sell I will put it to storage as well.
The garden remains as it was...shed as been cleared and all that kit is in it...which is good....still to do my scanning stuff and the new tax return has come around....but that is fine....most of the docs have been prepped....ready to go..and a letter today confirms Glasgow is signed up for another 12 months...woop woop!!
Matters are more positive just now so we shall see what occurs. Freedom. Happiness. Potential. Well being. Interesting.
