Nice

Well,

Back from the big family day...bigger than anyone expected I think...C's dad's partner's son brought his girlfriend and her brother..so an extra 3 mouths to feed...lots of mouths...but nice too...plenty of food..all were fed...I am still full...turned down some chocolate just now as well...just shows you.

I have received a lot of stuff...more than I ever expected.....really nice....nice day here and there and back here again..chilling...and time with C tomorrow after we drop the kids off at their dads.

I look back to the past year and see so much has happened...so many ups and downs and revelations and work to do and happiness and sadness and travelling and seeing folks...what a lucky life I have...shall next year be the same or more steady?..steady I hope as there has been a lot of things worked through, discussed, dissected and resolved plus work changes after the 2 years so hopefully that will be another element of stability.

Merry Christmas

It is now 10.40 am and all is quiet..or should I say...the noise has moved upstairs....up at 5.30 am this morning and putting out stockings....pressies opened up an hour later...paper put away though...but all sorts of goodies lying about...Pink playing upstairs and the kids playing WWF 2011...C down here looking at the new lap top (ids decidedly unexcited about it...the bams!!!)..I am on mine and doing this....Ry Davies on the hi fi down here....all very nice but strange as well....first ever Christmas where I am the parental figure...seems fine...but have already napped a few times..now planning the expedition to C's dad's (11 people for lunch!!!!) and then back here...in the evening...so lots of people and chat....see how that goes...but I am NOT playing charades....Boxing Day sees us taking the kids to their dad's at 11 am to be returned on Monday at 11 am....a day to ourselves..champagne chilled and ready to go....Stella ready to go...and all sorts of other boozy stuff as well...all very nice though.

Checked my bank accounts and looking good for the December 2011 target of £10K...probably more than that if I am honest..although the Perth property requires some repair the other property owners have not fronted up money for.....so I will have to pay the £2.5K and then take them to court to recoup the money...hey ho...I have it and will spend it but I will be damned if I don't get that money back...disappointed but it has to be done....a reminder letter first though...ok...better go and get ready for the ff.
